CARNUNTUM
Vineyards were planted and wine was pressed in the outstanding wine-growing region of Carnuntum as early as Roman times. With their knowledge, the Romans laid valuable foundations in the history of viticulture that have been passed on for centuries. The Pannonian microclimate creates ideal conditions for the wine-growing region, which is known above all for its red wines.
We have deliberately decided against producing only red wines and have thus succeeded in producing authentic white wines alongside our full-bodied red wines, thus highlighting the facets of Carnuntum in a new way.

DAC.1ÖTW
A clear profile for Carnuntum. This is the common path that the winegrowers have chosen. The aim of this classification is to work out the significance and special features of individual origins in order to give the wine connoisseur an orientation.
The wines can be categorized using a pyramid. The basis of each level is CARNUNTUM DAC, consisting of the varieties:
Grüner Veltliner
Chardonnay
Pinot Blanc
Zweigelt
Blaufränkisch
The regional wines are the base on which the pyramid is built and are intended to reflect the diversity of the region.
The local wines are already more complex and should clearly represent the typical character of a place.
The single vineyard wines are the closest in origin and are complex, great wines with corresponding ageing potential that express the individual vineyards.
